Want Support for Improving Your Communication?
Gottman Method Couples Coaching
Keep slipping back into the same patterns?
Do you want a stronger relationship, but aren't sure how to create lasting change?
Most couples don't struggle because they lack information. In fact, many couples already know what they should be doing. They know they need better communication, more quality time together, and healthier ways of handling conflict.
The challenge is turning those good intentions into consistent habits.
Relationship coaching helps bridge the gap between knowing what would help your relationship and actually putting those skills into practice. Rather than trying random exercises and hoping something changes, you'll have structure, accountability, and guidance tailored to your specific relationship.
This coaching is for couples who want to be proactive about strengthening their relationship. Whether you're feeling somewhat disconnected, repeating the same arguments, or simply looking for ways to deepen your connection, Gottman-based coaching provides a structured, research-backed path forward.
What we work on
The Gottman Method is built on more than 40 years of research into what makes relationships succeed and fail.
Common Goals in Couples Coaching
Our coaching sessions can help you:
Develop practical habits that increase connection and friendship
Navigate conflict without becoming stuck in blame, criticism, or defensiveness
Build greater understanding of each other's needs, values, and emotional experiences
Create relationship rituals that help you stay connected even during busy seasons of life
Turn relationship exercises and concepts into practical skills you actually use
These are learnable skills. Most couples don't need more information. They need a framework for applying what they already know in a consistent and meaningful way.
Coaching vs. therapy: what you should know
Couples coaching is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. It is a skill-building and goal-oriented service for couples who want to improve their relationship. If you or your partner are experiencing significant mental health symptoms, a licensed therapist may be a more appropriate fit. I offer therapy services in North Carolina and Utah — you can learn more here.
Coaching is available to couples anywhere in the world via secure video.
